Tenth Street Park Altoona (06-01-2008)
We love flower gardens and wanted to share our passion with our community. The city of Altoona said they didn't have any money in their budget to make a flower bed, so we gladly volunteered. We made this flower bed and planted all the flowers. We also maintain this each year with much enjoyment. If you drive by in the morning, you can often see Aaron watering the flowers!
Devney Park Altoona (08-10-2008)
This summer the Altoona Park and Recs came to us and asked if we would be intersted in planting some trees at Devney Park to shade the spectators watching baseball. We said "Definitely!" So we were off to find some trees. We found 5 trees that we liked and planted them ourselves. If you drive past the park in the early morning, you can often see Aaron watering them!
Eau Claire Food Bank (11-03-2008)
Today Team Tiry spent the afternoon at Eau Claire's food bank. We helped sort food, pack them into boxes, and got them ready to ship out to local food banks. We thought there was a lot of food to sort for one day, but we found out that they are very low on donations compared to 2007. It's amazing to see how much work is involved with programs like these. The behind the sceens look was very informative.
Agnes Table (11-17-2009)
On November 17th, we served a meal at the Agnes table in Chippewa Falls. Agnes' Table is served each Tuesday evening at Trinity United Methodist Church in Chippewa Falls, and is coordinated by Starting Points, an organization which provides emergency housing and other services to the indigent and homeless in our area. Various community organizations, businesses and church groups volunteer to serve meals on a rotating schedule.

Eau Claire Food Bank (05-11-2010)
Here's Aaron volunteering at the new Feed My People Food Bank in Eau Claire. We packaged up bulk pasta into smaller family size bags. We helped package over 1500 bags!
